Microsoft is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead Hardware Server Platform development for Azure's cloud technologies. This role involves transforming hardware concepts into scalable solutions, driving cross-team collaboration, and managing technical risks in a fast-paced environment.

Ansvarsområden

Lead a virtual team of functional leads in hardware and software engineering, sourcing, supply chain, networking, and datacenter operations to document a Plan-of-Record (POR) for new product development.
Drive the development, planning, and execution of holistic cross-functional product development and/or launch strategies, providing technical leadership and identifying technical risks.
Collaborate with internal and external technology development partners to form a cohesive development plan.
Ensure effective communication and escalation of risks and dependencies, facilitating timely decision-making.
Conduct risk management efforts, including scenario planning, mitigation, and recovery for new product introductions.
Communicate and interact regularly with senior management, highlighting risks and providing recommendations for product-level decisions.
Operate effectively in ambiguous situations, applying or designing processes where needed to add value.
Ensure cross-functional alignment, track development milestones, and manage overall readiness for new Data Center infrastructure development, launch, and deployments.
Use program management tools and communication methods to ensure a common understanding of the program plan of record among stakeholders.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
7+ years of experience in a leadership role driving technical HW + SW projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules, removing roadblocks and keeping processes running smoothly.
3+ years of experience providing communications and program updates at an executive level.
Ability to partner closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows.
Ability to create and operationalize processes to transform the effectiveness of the organization with respect to meeting business goals.
Coach, enable and grow Program Managers within the team and our partners.
Can align key stakeholders, and manage projects through milestones to completion on schedule and in budget.
Ability to monitor and measure engineering impact and performance results by tracking key performance indicators.
Excellent technical design, problem solving, debugging and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in shipping high quality products and services.
Ability to deal with ambiguity, assess opportunities and develop principles to prioritize multiple strategic and tactical options, and drive issues to closure with a high bar on quality.
Proven ability to work and collaborate with a wide range of business stakeholders to achieve results and impact.
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, etc.).
Supplier management experience for ODMs, SIs, and IHVs.
Experience with Optics Switch systems.

Förmåner

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.
For work locations within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
