We are seeking a Technical Leader with over 15 years of experience in embedded software development, specializing in C/C++ and embedded Linux platforms. The role involves designing and implementing real-time systems with a focus on functional safety and cybersecurity, working within an agile environment using tools like Azure DevOps and Git. Responsibilities include system architecture, requirement allocation, code reviews, unit/integration testing, and debugging on hardware.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design and implement embedded real-time systems focusing on functional safety and cybersecurity.
  • Work in an agile development environment utilizing Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographical locations.
  • Perform system/product architecture, and define system/user interface requirements.
  • Plan and execute software development activities for sprint-based features.
  • Conduct Object-Oriented Design and coding for real-time embedded software.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to standard coding guidelines.
  • Manage code changes using version control systems like Git.
  • Create and execute unit and integration tests for firmware requirements verification.
  • Debug software and hardware/software integration issues using tools like GDB, JTAG, or J-Link.
  • Propose improvements through code optimization, refactoring, and real-time performance enhancement.
  • Follow secure coding practices and perform static/dynamic code analysis for vulnerability detection.
  • Address cybersecurity requirements driven by regulations like EU-CRA.

Krav

  • Minimum of 15+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably on Embedded Linux.
  • Expert programming skills in C / C++ and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience in Device Driver development, Yocto image building, and device tree development.
  • Experience with bootloaders (U-boot preferred) and understanding of Linux kernel internals.
  • Familiarity with ARM or PowerPC processor architectures, FLASH memory, ADCs, and RTC devices.
  • Experience using communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, RS-232/RS-485, or Modbus.
  • Understanding of database management using Sqlite, JSON, or similar methods.
  • Experience in developing and conducting unit testing (manual or automation).
  • Experience debugging software using GDB or similar tools on simulated or hardware environments.
  • Experience with tools like JTAG or J-Link for board programming.
  • Hands-on experience in secure coding practices and understanding of open-source software licensing for cybersecurity compliance.
  • Knowledge and experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working on Virtual environments such as VMWare for code development.
  • Experience with DevOps using Azure and implementing CI/CD.
  • Experience in implementing data encryption to secure critical data and firmware.
  • Ability to identify security vulnerabilities and address EU-CRA requirements.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience working on embedded products for temperature, pressure, electricity, or gas measurement is an advantage.
  • Experience in UML or similar modeling languages for software design and architecture development.
  • Knowledge and experience with RTOS as well as developing UI using QT framework.
  • Knowledge and experience with distributed version control such as GIT, SVN.
  • Knowledge and experience with static code analysis tools such as PC-Lint, Coverity, or MISRA-C Std.
  • Knowledge and experience with VS Code or similar IDEs for code development.
  • Experience in software build automation using QBS for cross-platform development.
  • Experience in developing multi-threaded, modular designs on single/multi-core processors.
  • Experience implementing cybersecurity features and exposure to IEC62443 or EU-CRA compliance.
  • Hands-on experience using copilot tools for code development or unit testing.
  • Experience in threat modeling using Microsoft Azure or similar tools.
  • Experience working in geographically distributed teams.
