I korthet

This role requires an experienced AWS Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon EKS and Terraform to manage and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining Kubernetes platforms, automating infrastructure with IaC, troubleshooting production incidents, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and support Amazon EKS clusters across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Monitor Kubernetes cluster health, node utilization, pod performance, and resource optimization.
  • Troubleshoot Kubernetes deployment, networking, storage, and application issues.
  • Perform Kubernetes version upgrades, node group upgrades, and cluster maintenance.
  • Configure autoscaling, ingress controllers, namespaces, RBAC, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and persistent storage.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of Kubernetes environments.
  • Manage infrastructure using Terraform and develop reusable Terraform modules.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or other CI/CD platforms.
  • Automate build and deployment workflows.
  • Monitor platform health using CloudWatch and Kubernetes monitoring tools.
  • Respond to production alerts and incidents.
  • Implement Kubernetes security best practices and manage IAM roles and policies.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for AWS Kubernetes platforms.
  • Maintain production EKS clusters and Terraform codebase.
  • Document operational procedures and runbooks.

Krav

  • Strong experience managing Amazon EKS in production.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for AWS infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with Kubernetes troubleshooting.
  • Docker container management.
  • AWS cloud operations experience.
  • GitHub-based source control.
  • CI/CD implementation and support.
  • Linux system administration.
  • Python or Shell scripting.
