Job Summary:
L2 Technical Analyst responsible for batch monitoring, technical support, and configuration of Blue Yonder (BY) supply chain planning applications. Ensures smooth execution of planning jobs, integration flows, and system stability across ESP, Demand, and related modules.
Key Experience:
- 4–8 years in application support / AMS / production support
- Experience in Blue Yonder (SCPO) or similar planning tools
- Strong exposure to batch monitoring, incident management, and support operations
- Experience in integration support (ETL, file-based, SAP interfaces)
- Knowledge of CPG / Manufacturing / Supply Chain processes
Key Responsibilities:
Batch & System Monitoring
- Monitor and manage batch jobs, planning runs, and Control-M schedules
- Identify and resolve job failures, delays, and performance issues
Support & Incident Management
- Provide L2 support for incidents, service requests, and problem tickets
- Perform issue analysis, troubleshooting, and RCA
- Coordinate with L3/Architect/OEM teams for complex issues
Configuration & Technical Support
- Support basic configuration changes and system setups
- Validate data loads, interfaces, and planning outputs
Integration & Data Support
- Monitor and troubleshoot data flows between SAP, data lake, and BY systems
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and support documentation
- Identify opportunities for automation and batch optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in batch scheduling tools (Control-M or equivalent)
- Knowledge of BY application architecture / planning flows
- Basic configuration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with SQL, data validation, and ETL processes
- Understanding of incident management, SLA, and ITIL processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in BY ESP / Demand / Planning modules support
- Exposure to SAP ECC/S4 integrations
- Knowledge of automation scripting (Shell/Python)
- Experience in 24x7 AMS support environments
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
