We are looking for an experienced DataStage Engineer to serve as a Technical Lead in Bangalore, India. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL solutions, leading development teams, and optimizing data integration processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM DataStage, SQL, multiple RDBMS platforms, and data warehousing concepts, with experience in domains like banking and finance.

Ansvarsområden

Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable ETL designs.
Develop and optimize complex ETL workflows and data integration solutions.
Work on projects in domains such as Banking and Finance using DataStage.
Lead ETL development teams and mentor junior developers.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
Work closely with business analysts, architects, DBAs, and stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Implement data quality and data validation processes.
Participate in architecture discussions and solution design activities.
Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for performance and scalability.

Krav

Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataStage.
Expertise in DataStage features like Parallel Jobs, Sequence Jobs, Shared Containers, Job Sequencing, Change Data Capture (CDC), DataStage Performance Tuning, Job Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
Strong experience working with multiple databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Ability to write complex SQL queries.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT Concepts, Data Warehousing Architecture, and Data Modeling.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Exposure to Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Talend, or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Cloud data platform experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Hadoop.
DevOps/CI-CD experience for ETL deployments.
IBM DataStage Certification.
Experience with Data Quality Frameworks.
Experience with Metadata Management.
Knowledge of Data Governance Concepts.
