This onsite Technical Designer position in Broken Arrow, OK requires proficiency in Autodesk Inventor to produce accurate drawings, models, and assemblies. The role involves coordinating technical activities, interpreting engineering notes, and collaborating with various teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.

Ansvarsområden

  • Coordinate and execute technical activities using Autodesk Inventor software.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and review drafting work, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Produce accurate drawings, models, and assemblies independently.
  • Interpret engineering notes and sketches to resolve design issues.
  • Work closely with engineering disciplines, Project Management, customer representatives, suppliers, and shop personnel.
  • Ensure incoming orders are complete and specified designs are feasible.
  • Communicate with project managers and sales on drawing approval, revisions, and fabrication release.
  • Operate AutoCAD Inventor 3D models including iLogic automation for GA and detail component drawings.
  • Update order tracking systems upon completion of tasks.
  • Review customer approval drawing comments and verify bill of materials.
  • Provide documentation for product registration with regulatory agencies.
  • Check order documentation accuracy produced by others.
  • Provide improvement feedback to iLogic developer for efficient design solutions.
  • Support Manager with other tasks as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct oneself in a considerate, professional, cooperative, and helpful manner.

Krav

  • Associate's degree in Drafting, Design or Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 4 years' experience as CAD designer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in 3D modelling packages.
  • Experience with industrial piping and design principles.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Air cooled heat exchanger industry experience preferred.
  • Autodesk Inventor preferred.
  • ASME Section VIII pressure vessel code and other related codes and standards of ANSI, ASTM, API preferred.
