The Technical Centre Engineer provides hands-on services for system modification, retrofits, and installations to support customer productivity and satisfaction. This on-site role in Villard Bonnot, France, involves project ownership, daily reporting, technical troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide best-in-class hands-on services for all Technical Centre activities.
  • Ensure modification, retrofit, and installation of new systems aligned with engineering guidelines.
  • Deliver solutions on time that meet approved PSCL requirements.
  • Manage all projects hands-on activities within the Technical Center and on customer sites.
  • Daily reporting of activities and timeline updates.
  • Apply technical knowledge and troubleshooting methodology to assess problems.
  • Assist Development Engineers in determining root causes by analyzing logs.
  • Share configuration best-practices with customers and colleagues.
  • Support the service team with installation and specific settings.
  • Support the development engineer to complete NSTA and safety reviews.
  • Report all non-conformities during upgrades to the project manager.
  • Ensure SOP, NSTA, PSCL are understood and followed during installations.
  • Work with the Project Manager to maintain the Technical Centre according to SHE requirements.

Krav

  • Ownership of all projects hands-on activities within the Technical Center and extended scope to the customer sites.
  • Daily reporting of activities including timeline update.
  • Prioritize and balance own workload, making good use of time to achieve organizational and personal goals.
  • Apply technical knowledge and troubleshooting methodology to assess problems, analyse logs helping in determining the root causes to the Development Engineers.
  • Share configuration best-practices with customers and colleagues, Support service team with installation/specific setting
  • Support the development engineer to complete specific NSTA (non-standard test addendum) for the finished product together with safety review (when required).
  • Responsibility in ensuring Safety reviews are followed-up and systems are fully compliant before they move to production
  • Report all non-conformities during upgrades for both NSTA & PSCL to the project manager to ensure document is fully completed before final release.
  • Ensure SOP, NSTA, PSCL are understood and followed during installations.
  • Work with project Manager in ensuring the Technical Centre is maintained in accordance with all legislative, landlord and Edwards/Atlas Copco policy Safety, Health and Environment requirements established by EMEA CC SHE
