I korthet

As an IP and Transport Technical Authority Expert in Doha, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing configuration, operations, and maintenance activities for IP and Transport services. This role requires extensive knowledge of IP routing protocols, transport technologies, and various vendor equipment to ensure service level agreements are met.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform 2nd Level Incident management, Fault and KPI Troubleshooting, and Preventive Maintenance.
  • Prepare, test, and implement services/resources configuration data changes for service activation and optimization.
  • Manage Software Deployment of IP & Transport nodes updates and upgrades.
  • Handle System administration, Node Integration/expansion & commissioning, and Customer Service Requests.
  • Gain commissioning, configuration, upgrade, and operations and maintenance experience on vendor routers and firewalls (Ericsson R6000, Juniper M120/M103/M320/MX480/MX960).

Krav

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the Transport domain.
  • Deep knowledge of IP Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP).
  • Understanding of DWDM, SONET/SDH, Ethernet transport, and other underlying transport technologies.
  • Experience with Redundancy Protocols (HSRP, VRRP, BFD).
  • Proficiency in Microwave, Optical, and IPRAN network configuration, operation, and maintenance.
  • Technical issue resolution related to EVPN, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and MPLS TE/FRR/VPN.
  • Knowledge of 2G, 4G, and 5G network architecture, interfaces, protocols, and signaling flows.
  • Understanding of Quality of Service.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience on different vendor routers and firewalls including Ericsson R6000 and Juniper (M120/M103/M320/MX480/MX960).
  • Experience with Managed Service telecom operations practice.
