HCLTech is seeking a Technical Architect for SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) to join their SAP Application Management Services team in Pune, India. The role involves ensuring stable global sales and logistics operations, supporting Order-to-Cash transformation, and driving continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA processes within a GxP-regulated environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ensure end-to-end business operations (L3 support) for SAP Schedule-to-Fulfill (S2F), Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Market-to-Offer (M2O) processes.
  • Analyze, process, and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests within the SAP SD environment.
  • Prepare functional and technical specifications and maintain solution, process and test documentation.
  • Perform root cause analyses and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Plan and execute change requests, enhancements, and continuous improvements of SAP SD processes.
  • Ensure all changes are executed within a validated, GxP-regulated SAP environment, including documentation of test evidence, risk assessments and quality approvals.
  • Configure and enhance SAP SD components, including sales orders, deliveries, billing, returns, pricing, and output management.
  • Advise business stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA SD capabilities, standard processes, and Clean-Core-aligned solution designs.
  • Collaborate with ABAP and Fiori development teams for enhancements, bug-fixing and technical implementations.
  • Support functional and automated regression testing in cooperation with test automation teams.
  • Contribute to SAP rollouts, upgrades, release cycles and continuous system improvements.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration with MM, WM/eWM, PP, FI/CO and external applications.
  • Participate in AMS initiatives using agile and classical project management methodologies.
  • Support the lifecycle management of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution, ensuring system stability, compliance and long-term sustainability.

Krav

  • > 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Execution / Sales & Distribution (SD), incl. > 1 year of experience working in a validated GxP SAP environment with strong focus on documentation, CSV/CSA & regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA SD simplifications and Fiori.
  • Basic understanding of ABAP/4, ABAP OO, and SAP Fiori concepts, enhancements, and debugging.
  • Experience in agile and classical project delivery models.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under SLA driven environments.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to SAP updates and process changes.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience as a (sub) project manager is desirable.
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex processes and issues, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in business consulting, demand management, and service provider management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and initial experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is desirable.
