Sandvik is seeking a Technical Advisor for LOHA (Location of Hire Agreement) at the Oyu Tolgoi LLC Underground Mine in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This role focuses on ensuring efficient equipment maintenance, managing service support, and providing technical solutions to clients, while leading and developing a product support team.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ensure efficient maintenance of client's equipment fleet at Oyu Tolgoi LLC’s Underground Mine site.
  • Carry out required work as directed by Supervisors to maintain availability while minimizing costs and waste.
  • Ensure Site and SMC Safety and Environmental guidelines are adhered to.
  • Manage Service Support to accomplish business goals and objectives.
  • Manage daily requirements and engage relevant departments to provide a high level of customer service satisfaction.
  • Perform systematic fault finding and provide prompt, correct, and safe solutions for customer assignments.
  • Lead and develop the Product Support and OTUG Service team.
  • Oversee employees within teams to ensure maximum productivity and meet deadlines with high standards of quality and safety.
  • Supervise and support employees, setting priorities and coaching them to meet daily deadlines.
  • Use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their needs and determining appropriate solutions.
  • Collect technical feedback and provide it to Product Masters/EQ Division Product line and Technical Manager.
  • Provide technical support to the team & customer using deep knowledge of tasks, tools, and procedures.
  • Commission new products.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis/Trouble Shooting (Including 1st line support).
  • Function as first line support for helpdesk issues & technical support in Territory.
  • Handle Bulletin Administration and Support.
  • Assist Planning department in optimization of maintenance strategy development, parts planning, and documentation.
  • Report daily work status to managers in a specific site standard format.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by direct Manager.
  • Source and join technical training courses and assessments of Divisions.
  • Adhere to company and client environmental and safety policies and procedures.
  • Strictly adhere to company rules and customer regulations.
  • Follow safety & necessary Take 5, SWP and risk assessment procedures.
  • Ensure technical information and knowledge sharing between Equipment division and Sales Area.

Krav

  • Proven experience in a Technical Advisor or similar role.
  • Experience in fleet maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to provide solutions.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental guidelines in a mining environment.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and fault finding.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Specialist understanding of customer needs.
  • Experience with commissioning new products.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk systems and technical support procedures.
  • Knowledge of maintenance strategy development and parts planning.
  • Experience with Sandvik Leadership model is a plus.
