Synopsys is seeking a Technical Account Manager for the Aero & Defense sector in Sweden. This role involves building strategic relationships within the defense ecosystem, developing technical strategies, and influencing program outcomes by integrating Synopsys solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in defense engineering and commercial software, with a strong understanding of system engineering and MBSE.

Ansvarsområden

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships across Sweden's defense ecosystem, including prime contractors, tier suppliers, and government stakeholders.
  • Develop account-specific and ecosystem-wide technical strategies aligned with defense program requirements, acquisition phases, and customer mission priorities.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers to identify growth opportunities, plan technical activities, and coordinate resources.
  • Shape technical requirements early in defense program lifecycles, influencing how Synopsys solutions integrate into long-term roadmaps and procurement processes.
  • Lead opportunity qualification and drive technical campaigns for complex engagements.
  • Review technical support activities to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Support and lead account-based marketing strategies that drive technology adoption.

Krav

  • BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of professional experience in an engineering software environment, or MS with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
  • Demonstrated experience using engineering solutions or deep knowledge of commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM software packages.
  • Strong understanding of System Engineering, Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), and mission engineering analysis.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time.
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and coordinate with teams distributed across multiple global sites.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in project engineering, systems engineering, application engineering, or consulting services is a plus.
  • 4+ years in project engineering, systems engineering, application engineering, or consulting services strengthens candidacy.
