I korthet

As a Tech Lead for the Data Mesh and AI Platforms team at Nordea, you will drive the technical vision and hands-on execution for cloud-native data and AI platform capabilities. You will lead engineering direction, design secure foundations across AWS, GCP, and Azure, and coach engineers to foster a strong platform engineering culture. This is a full-time permanent hybrid position located in Poland, Denmark, or Finland.

Ansvarsområden

  • Set engineering direction for AI platform capabilities, ensuring architectural integrity, scalability, and resilience.
  • Lead hands-on engineering work across cloud infrastructure, platform automation, CI/CD, provisioning, and reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns.
  • Design and mature secure platform foundations across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including identity integration, access patterns, network/security controls, and observability.
  • Drive pragmatic adoption of AI platform services like AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Google Gemini, and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Coach engineers, foster engineering best practices, and build a strong platform engineering culture.
  • Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, architects, cybersecurity, and governance teams.
  • Own and communicate the technical roadmap, balancing speed, scalability, cost, compliance, and operational reliability.
  • Translate technical complexity into clear recommendations and status updates for stakeholders.

Krav

  • Proven experience designing and building production-grade platform capabilities across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Highly comfortable with Terraform, automation, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Expert-level knowledge of infrastructure, provisioning, identity provider integration, IAM, access control, and platform security patterns.
  • Ability to combine deep technical expertise with the ability to guide, challenge, and inspire other engineers.
  • Genuine interest in AI platforms, generative AI, and agentic workflows, with knowledge of pragmatic and safe adoption.
  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or similar technical leadership roles.
  • Documented experience leading engineers and setting technical direction in complex technology environments.
  • Expert-level knowledge of infrastructure, provisioning, automation, and Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform as an essential skill.
  • Experience with AI platform services and ecosystems such as AWS Bedrock/AgentCore, Google Gemini, or Azure AI Foundry.
  • Strong understanding of IdP integration, IAM, federation, secrets management, and secure access patterns in enterprise environments.
  • Experience building production-grade CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational controls for platforms.
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs between speed, cost, scalability, resilience, and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare and drive presentations, explain platform decisions, and act as a subject matter expert for Cloud AI Platforms.
