Alfa Laval in Pune is seeking an experienced Team Manager for their Stores department. This role involves managing all store activities, ensuring high accuracy in stock, optimizing inbound and outbound logistics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Commerce degree, 5-7 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of warehouse processes and ERP systems.

Ansvarsområden

Responsible for stock management, including incoming material inspection, correct placement, and timely picking.
Ensure proper transaction of material and maintain high stock accuracy through counting and updates.
Monitor stock levels, highlight discrepancies, and manage early material arrivals.
Set and monitor targets for the team, tracking performance against KPIs.
Expedite GRR upon material receipt to support SDOT.
Implement ALPS/Lean Six Sigma initiatives, including 5S, kaizen, and project management.
Ensure standardized work through SOPs and drive problem-solving activities.
Manage disposal of supplier rejections and scrap material.
Maintain high safety standards in stores and yard.
Prepare e-way bills and dispatch material against MSJ.
Conduct regular stock verification of A & B class items.
Maintain FIFO for shelf-life items.
Analyze process deviations and facilitate root cause analysis.
Ensure cooperation between buyers, team managers, and suppliers.
Analyze inventory values to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
Maintain basic data parameters.
Drive project work within the department.
Secure a frozen production schedule for at least the next 6 days.
Launch, schedule, and close shop work orders.
Maintain awareness of future shortages (minimum N5W).

Krav

Commerce Graduate with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in store and warehouse management.
Knowledge of store & warehouse processes.
Knowledge of ERP and MM tools.
Overall supply chain understanding.
Knowledge of material management.
Experience with support functions like Sourcing, Quality, Order handling.
Good cross-cultural understanding.
Good communication skills.
