Alfa Laval seeks a Team Manager for its Pune stores to oversee all store operations, ensuring high stock accuracy, efficient material handling, and prioritizing production. This role involves managing inbound and outbound logistics, optimizing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage stock, incoming material, and coordination with QC for inspection.
  • Ensure proper material transaction and maintain high stock accuracy through regular counting.
  • Monitor and report stock levels, highlighting early material arrivals or discrepancies.
  • Set and follow up on group targets, monitor performance, and prepare GRR promptly.
  • Implement ALPS/Lean Six Sigma initiatives, including 5S, kaizen, and project management.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for standardized work.
  • Drive problem-solving and improvement activities within the stores.
  • Oversee quick disposal of supplier rejections and scrap material.
  • Ensure high safety standards in stores and yards.
  • Prepare e-way bills and dispatch material against MSJ.
  • Conduct regular stock verification of A & B class items and maintain FIFO for shelf-life items.
  • Align overall targets and KPIs to department goals.
  • Analyze process deviations, facilitate root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
  • Ensure cooperation between buyers, TM's, and suppliers.
  • Implement stocking programs as agreed and analyze inventory values to reduce excess/obsolete stock.
  • Analyze ALPS sourcing, delivery, and stores SB problems weekly with action plans.
  • Drive project work within the department.
  • Secure frozen production schedules and manage shop work orders.
  • Maintain awareness of future shortages and ensure the highest level of safety.
  • Create a total overview of the department's load.

Krav

  • Commerce Graduate with 5-7 years of experience in store and warehouse processes.
  • Independent and self-motivated with a drive for continuous performance improvement.
  • Knowledge of ERP and MM tools.
  • Overall supply chain understanding.
  • Knowledge of material management.
  • Experience with support functions like Sourcing, Quality, and Order handling.
  • Good cross-cultural understanding.
  • Good communication skills.
