As a Team Manager Manufacturing in Pune, you will ensure on-time, high-quality conveyor production, achieve safety and production targets, and effectively plan manpower. This role requires leadership, process knowledge in welding and machining, and a focus on continuous improvement within Alfa Laval's sustainable engineering environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ensure daily load & unloading activity and maintain TAKT for three shifts for Conveyor cell.
  • Drive the team towards Objectives and Goals.
  • Manage new development i.e. component, programming fixture & tooling.
  • Review and release Manufacturing Orders.
  • Execute M.O. and operation booking on daily basis as per production plan.
  • Schedule Manufacturing orders on weekly and monthly basis.
  • Conduct daily ALPS/DSB meetings for Conveyor cell.
  • Communicate timely to Mfg. unit about delay of components for rescheduling.
  • Monitor daily value addition, performance/output, and MO DOT of the cell.
  • Communicate delays in advance to Customers.
  • Prepare MRD and MRV of excess component.
  • Prepare presentation for fortnightly Manufacturing meetings.
  • Maintain PI and KPI parameters.
  • Involve in new tools, jigs & fixture.
  • Monitor rework hours and loss of hours.
  • Check capacity vs load for all available machines.
  • Supplier development for Cost Reduction.
  • Check equipment status.
  • Communicate to all for PRP support.
  • Prepare Kaizens and PRPs as and when implemented.
  • Handle Quality issues.
  • Communicate to Order handler and planner about any change in delay & shortages.
  • Analyze accident & claim and communicate further.
  • Review ALPS, 5s, HSC, QMS audits, aspect and HIRA, BB, GB DEMAIC projects.
  • Prepare for ISO audits and attend the audits.
  • Ensure safety requirements as per EMS & OHSAS.
  • Check near miss reports, W&T and bbs observations on a monthly basis.

Krav

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of experience in welding and machining manufacturing.
  • Process knowledge of welding & Machining for Conveyor.
  • Resource planning.
  • Product knowledge.
  • QMS and HSE knowledge.
  • KPI parameter knowledge.
  • IT tools proficiency.
  • Soft skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
