Volvo Trucks seeks a Team Leader in Alrode to manage workshop employees and meet departmental targets for efficiency and service delivery. The role focuses on achieving business objectives, managing KPIs like parts and workshop sales, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage workshop employees to meet departmental targets for efficiency and service delivery.
  • Achieve strategic business plans and objectives.
  • Meet or exceed KPIs for parts sales, workshop sales, materials, expense control, aftermarket absorption, and operating income.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through customer-centric activities.
  • Manage Work in Progress (WIP) by correctly allocating costs and invoicing work promptly.
  • Ensure full staff compliment and adherence to company policies.
  • Complete performance evaluations and conduct regular performance dialogues.
  • Communicate effectively with Business Control regarding projections.
  • Coordinate meetings with managers to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees according to company policy.
  • Oversee and maintain compensation plans for all employees.
  • Ensure adherence to Volvo Group policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Supervise daily staff activities and plan work for efficiency.
  • Allocate technicians according to production plans.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with service advisors for documentation completion.
  • Monitor job progress and provide feedback to service advisors.
  • Ensure technical literature is available and Technicians comply with Volvo Standards.
  • Control workshop equipment, vehicles, and special tools.
  • Ensure road testing and programming of vehicles meet required standards.
  • Address issues of poor workmanship immediately.

Krav

  • Matric / N3 qualification.
  • Diesel Mechanic Trade Test.
  • Five (5) years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Two (2) years' experience in a Team Leader/Supervisor capacity within a workshop environment.
