Amazon seeks a Team Lead for its transportation team in Bangalore, India. This role involves managing shift operations at Delivery Centers, supporting the DC manager, and driving the operational plan. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing environments, logistics, or manufacturing, with a Bachelor's degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and SQL.

Ansvarsområden

  • Define, build, and execute the delivery process from delivery station to customer address.
  • Ensure sufficient bandwidth in the territorial delivery team for peak time delivery management.
  • Engage closely with the delivery team, including associates, to develop and maintain a highly motivated and performance-driven team.
  • Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance through process and training improvements.
  • Initiate improvements to enhance quality standards, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.
  • Analyze data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance.
  • Implement formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen.

Krav

  • 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with Excel
