Emerson is hiring a Team Lead for Accounts Payable in Mandaluyong, Philippines. This hybrid role involves leading accounts payable operations, including invoice validation, payment processing, issue resolution, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience in finance and accounting, with 2 years of people management experience, and proficiency in ERP systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead and support accounts payable operations, including issue resolution of invoices, reconciliation and month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure effective implementation of internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and Emerson policies.
  • Select validated invoices for payment and upload payment files to banking software.
  • Prepare and provide supporting documents for audit requirements.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded.
  • Perform staffing projections and monitor employee schedules.
  • Provide regular coaching to enhance team performance.

Krav

  • At least 6 years of working experience in Finance and Accounting, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable function, including Invoice Processing, Issue Resolution, and Payments.
  • At least 2 years of experience in handling people.
  • Experience in handling vendor inquiries, stakeholder, and account reconciliation.
  • Experience in handling external and internal audits.
  • Practical knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standard Board regulation.
