ABB is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead in Bangalore, India. This role involves leading AP operations, managing a team, ensuring operational excellence, and driving process improvements and compliance. The position requires a Bachelor's/Master's degree and significant experience in Accounts Payable and leadership.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team, including hiring, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings, provide feedback, and mentor team members.
  • Organize daily huddles and regular reviews to monitor process health.
  • Ensure accurate processing of AP transactions and adherence to SLA/TAT timelines.
  • Oversee month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Present dashboards with SLI & KPI reports and drive improvements in Paid on Time (POT) metrics.
  • Handle escalations, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
  • Manage new projects and process transitions.
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support implementation of best practices and harmonization across AP processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ABB Group Accounting Standards, local GAAP, and internal controls.
  • Lead internal control testing and documentation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for country heads and clients.
  • Manage customer queries and enhance customer experience.
  • Perform transaction analysis, identify discrepancies, and ensure corrective actions.
  • Deliver KPI/SLI reports and insights to stakeholders.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 7–11 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • At least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent team leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in process improvement.
  • Proven experience in compliance.
  • Proven experience in project management.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Utilize ERP tools (SAP, Oracle) and reporting platforms (Power BI) for data analysis and visualization.
