Alstom is seeking a TC&IS System Engineer in Saint-Bruno, QC, to work on signaling subsystems for rolling stock. This hybrid role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3+ years of system engineering experience, ideally in the rail industry. The position involves defining subsystem architecture, ensuring compliance, and leading integration efforts.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop comprehensive functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements for RSC signaling subsystems
  • Lead the integration of signaling subsystems into rolling stock, addressing mechanical, electrical, and software components
  • Specify and document necessary interfaces to enable effective subsystem communication
  • Conduct integration validation and participate in design reviews
  • Implement and manage change control processes for signaling subsystems
  • Plan and coordinate engineering activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to optimize subsystem performance
  • Define subsystem architecture and functionalities
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering preferred)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in system engineering, ideally with a focus on signaling systems or the rail industry
  • Familiarity with signaling standards, system integration techniques, and configuration management methodologies
  • Bilingual fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive mindset with demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability to dynamic project environments
