Tactical Purchasing Specialist needed to manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and ERP updates. This role involves checking supply/demand, implementing system exceptions, and collaborating with global stakeholders. Requires 5-10 years of experience in procurement/supply chain with ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle) and strong analytical skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Extract Open PO Report and convert PR to PO.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for PO acknowledgement and confirmations.
  • Update ERP with confirmation dates and communicate with the plant on PO-related queries.
  • Check supply/demand and decide on items for stock replenishment.
  • Implement exception messages in SAP, Oracle, and plant ERP.
  • Liaise with suppliers for deliveries, maintain promise dates, and order confirmations.
  • Collaborate with Global Stakeholders for Material Availability.
  • Lead Supplier Relationship Management with internal and external suppliers.
  • Collaborate with finance for supplier on-time payment.
  • Complete Material Master Set up and associated activities.
  • Convert Requisitions to PO for MRO Items.
  • Validate supplier lead times for delivery.
  • Coordinate Material Master Data Audits in the ERP.
  • Communicate actions and resolutions with Plant/Site Buyers.
  • Support preparation of management reports for customers and suppliers.
  • Address supplier delivery issues with PIC Manager and Planning team.
  • Resolve discrepancies in parked/blocked invoice reports.
  • Negotiate with vendors for best cost and delivery requirements.

Krav

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain or Casting, Forging, Machining.
  • Knowledge in Strategic sourcing methodology, supply chain management, contracting, procurement, and supplier management skill.
  • Experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent digital literacy and technical proficiency including data gathering, interpretation, and reporting for the Supply Chain organization.
  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and management (Advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, SQL).
  • Self-motivated.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management or any related field.
  • Experience in Project Management and Project Management certification are an added advantage.
