Volvo Car USA LLC seeks a Systems Engineer in Ridgeville, South Carolina. Responsibilities include troubleshooting integrations, providing technical solutions, creating application documentation, and participating in maintenance and continuous improvement activities. Ansvarsområden

  • Troubleshoot integrations between applications and shop floor equipment.
  • Provide technical solutions for problems within existing applications.
  • Create application documentation including accurate support documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to plan, schedule and supervise all application maintenance.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement activities.
  • Work with business partners in identifying project business value and provide direction for the business in creating multiple, interrelated functional specifications and their translation to IT design requirements.
  • Coordinate, follow up and secure accurate testing in the appropriate areas.
  • Define and review requirements and use cases for the applications.
  • Perform technical design of configuration, build objects, reports and interfaces according to business requirements.
  • Assist in coding, bugfix, and minor new development.
  • Participate in on-call rotation supporting multi-shift operations.

Krav

  • Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience working as an engineer or analyst.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using Unix, Windows or OpenVMS.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using Java and SQL.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Log4J, and Restful.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using JSP, Servlets, SAX/DOM, JSON, Web Services, JSTL, JDBC, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and ReactJS.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using Apache, Kafka, and MQ.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using AWS, Amazon EC2, S3, and Azure.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using Red Hat Openshift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DB2.
  • Must have 3 years of experience using Apache Tomcat, Jboss, or Weblogic.
  • Also requires experience working in automotive manufacturing.
