Emerson is seeking a recent graduate or early-career Software Engineering professional for a full-time, on-site Systems Engineer role in Pune, India. This position involves full-stack development using C#.Net and SQL to support manufacturing execution systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to automation projects.

Ansvarsområden

  • Work on full-stack software development using C#.Net and SQL
  • Support custom in-house Manufacturing Execution Software application and database
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for software development
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop, setup, and test software features
  • Collaborate with a global team of software engineers on projects, production support, and software maintenance
  • Develop and support software integrations with equipment, devices, and systems
  • Develop and document software designs using Object-Oriented techniques
  • Manage source code using TFS Version Control and Azure DevOps
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing production software issues
  • Share ideas and solutions for improvements and innovations for the supported software
  • Perform basic database administration on Windows OS and SQL servers
  • Work on digital transformation using data transformation and PowerBI

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering (BCA, MCA, BCS & MCS)
  • Experience in software development and a good understanding of object-oriented design and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with Microsoft development tools, the Windows operating system and Microsoft SQL
  • Proficient in English and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for both hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Familiar with Reporting tools such as PowerBI and SSRS
  • Able to think out of the box with strong desire to learn and a great teammate

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Working knowledge of C#, asp.net, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Office Suite or PowerBI
  • Familiarity with TFS Version Control and Azure DevOps
