Ericsson Poland is seeking a dedicated Test Engineer for their R&D team in Krakow. This hybrid role involves performing System Test (ST) focusing on Capacity, Maintainability, Robustness, and Stability, alongside investigating and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in testing, strong knowledge of IP systems/networks, Unix/Linux, GIT, and containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform System Test (ST) in four major areas: Capacity, Maintainability, Robustness, and Stability.
  • Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot encountered issues.
  • Collaborate with other test teams on improving the test environment and process.
  • Develop competencies in a sophisticated technical domain.
  • Focus on quality assurance of Ericsson core products.

Krav

  • Knowledge of software quality, testing process, type of tests, product lifecycle, bug reporting.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in manual or automated testing.
  • Very good knowledge of IP systems/networks, IP protocols and IP-based routing in an embedded environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Unix/Linux competencies and knowledge of GIT.
  • Knowledge in Containerization and usage of Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile project methodologies and management tools (e.g., JIRA & Confluence).
  • At least B2 Polish and English (both written and spoken).
  • Very good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Result oriented, creative, and analytical mindset.
  • Willing to work in hybrid model in our office in Krakow (3 days from office, 2 days from home weekly).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification will be an additional advantage.
  • Good knowledge of telecommunication systems (3G, 4G, 5G) would be an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking skills, ability to learn quickly, collaboration and high level of communication skills.
  • Master or bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent formal education.
