Qualcomm is seeking a System IP MicroArchitect in Bangalore, India, for a full-time, on-site role. This position involves IP architecture and micro-architecture development, building prototypes, and optimizing performance, power, and area benefits within the system infrastructure domain.
Ansvarsområden
- Technical, hands-on role for IP Architecture/micro-architecture development.
- Build design prototypes and commercialize advanced IPs in system infrastructure, testing proof of concept for algo efficiency, and analyzing performance, power, and area benefits.
- Learn various facets of SOC architecture, including High-speed Interconnect, Bus Protocols, Memory Technologies, and Power Architecture.
- Work with the Performance modelling team to prototype new IP ideas and with the Silicon team to analyze prior products and competition.
- Guide Design/DV and engineering teams on high-quality IP implementation and successful commercialization.
- Work with the SW team for post-silicon tuning for superior performance and power.
Krav
- 8+ years of experience in IP architecture, micro-architecture, and design.
- Good understanding of SOC.
- Experience with Verilog, logic design principles with timing, area, and power implications.
- Good communication and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with Perf, Design and System team stakeholders in developing IP solutions.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Expertise in any one of the following technical areas is a plus: DDR, Interconnects, memory management, SOC power management, clock/reset, Compression, Encryption, ECC, PCIe, CXL.
- Understanding of ARM architecture (Coherency, bus interconnects, Security, arch evolution).
- Experience in test-plan development, UVM, will be a great asset.
- Understanding interconnect protocols like AHB/AXI/ACE/ACE-Lite/CHI.
- Good understanding of system concurrency, Quality of service, bandwidth, latency, and system-level analysis.
