Alstom is seeking a full-time System Engineer in Toronto, ON, to contribute to the GO Expansion project. Ansvarsområden
- Design system solutions and formalize system specifications.
- Maintain traceability of requirements.
- Support technical discussions with the customer.
- Develop system specifications and ensure technical consistency across project subsystems.
- Analyze input needs and requirements to design optimal system solutions.
- Provide technical interfaces with non-signaling teams.
- Formalize and maintain system specifications, application rules, and supporting process descriptions.
- Develop interface specifications for external and internal subsystems.
- Coordinate with program team members to implement and revise designs.
- Apply Alstom standard processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Krav
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or equivalent design experience.
- Experience or understanding of signaling projects as a sub-system or system engineer.
- Knowledge of Wayside Signaling, Computer-Based Interlocking (CBI) solutions, and Wayside/Trackside environments.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as AREMA and CENELEC.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- A Professional Engineer certification (or in progress).
- Experience with tools like DOORs and ClearQuest.
Förmåner
- Compensation: $90,000 – $125,000 CAD per year.
