Are you passionate about building automation solutions for financial operations? Join Amazon's Transportation Financial Services (TFS) team as a System Development Engineer. You will develop critical systems for financial reporting and migrations, tackle complex data processing challenges, and create automated solutions for accurate book closures and seamless migrations. Ideal candidates have experience in automation development, operating complex systems, and possess technical knowledge in Linux systems and networking.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design and implement automated solutions for device migrations and financial system transitions.
  • Develop metric generation systems and reporting tools for accurate financial book closures and visibility.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using optimal data structures and algorithms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by addressing support tickets and diagnosing system problems.
  • Enhance existing features and build new capabilities to simplify adoption for internal customers.
  • Triage situations quickly and work well with other engineers.
  • Review support tickets and prioritize issues impacting financial reconciliation and ledger posting accuracy.
  • Develop automated solutions for upcoming migrations and ingestions.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to enable new reports for monthly and quarterly book closures.
  • Enhance system features to make data adoption easier for business teams.
  • Debug complex issues in the metric generation pipeline.
  • Participate in code reviews, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to technical discussions.

Krav

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
