Amazon's DSP tech team in Hyderabad is seeking a System Development Engineer to work on last-mile technologies. Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, developing monitoring solutions, performing software maintenance, and collaborating with development teams on software projects and automation.

Ansvarsområden

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix production software issues.
  • Develop monitoring solutions.
  • Perform software maintenance and scaling.
  • Implement fixes for internally developed code.
  • Perform SQL queries.
  • Update, track and resolve technical challenges.
  • Work alongside development on team's software projects.
  • Update/enhance current software.
  • Automate support processes and document systems.
  • Play a vital role in supporting and developing technologies to increase global collaboration, efficiency, and meet controller ship requirements.
  • Directly work with the development team to improve applications through technical mitigations and deep dives on reported issues.
  • Work on proactive detection mechanisms to report dips in software performance by building efficient metrics/monitors/alarms using in-house tools.
  • Build tools and automation to optimize the system and simplify processes.
  • Design and deliver technology solutions that solve difficult business problems.
  • Identify and solve ambiguous problems, architectural deficiencies, or areas where systems hinder the success or innovation of other teams.
  • Work autonomously, but may seek direction at times from peers and managers.
  • Make appropriate trade-offs and re-use or extend prior work where possible.
  • Consistently write clear, accurate, and concise documentation for own solutions and improve team's existing documentation.
  • Work closely with Product Management to break down feature requirements into software deliverables.
  • Design, develop and maintain secure and performant software features and systems for Last-mile and DSP Tech customers.
  • Actively participate in software and system design reviews.
  • Participate in the team on-call rotation to triage, communicate status, escalate, and remediate critical issues quickly.

Krav

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
