Amazon's Worldwide Returns, ReCommerce & Sustainability (WWR&R) team seeks a System Development Engineer II in Hyderabad to innovate in circular economy initiatives. Responsibilities include automation, tool development, troubleshooting, and supporting large-scale infrastructure. The role requires programming experience in languages like Python or Java, Linux/Unix proficiency, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop automation and tools for large-scale infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose systemic and infrastructure issues.
  • Fix production software issues and develop monitoring solutions.
  • Perform software maintenance and configuration.
  • Implement fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, Java).
  • Perform SQL queries, update, track, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects.
  • Update and enhance current software.
  • Automate support processes and document systems.

Krav

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with distributed systems at scale.
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
