Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Support Team is seeking a System Development Engineer in Hyderabad to troubleshoot production software issues, develop monitoring solutions, and implement fixes for applications related to fulfillment services. The role involves using AI tools and programming languages like Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, and Python to automate operations and enhance systems, directly impacting customer experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues.
  • Develop monitoring solutions.
  • Perform software maintenance and configuration.
  • Utilize AI tools where applicable.
  • Implement fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, Python).
  • Perform SQL queries.
  • Update, track, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Build and develop tools to automate daily operational activities.
  • Leverage generative AI (GenAI) tools and large language model (LLM)-based assistants.
  • Work with AI-assisted code generation, code review automation, or AI-powered incident triage tools.
  • Work alongside development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects.
  • Update/enhance current software.
  • Design systems.
  • Automate support processes.
  • Document systems.

Krav

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
  • Experience working in a high pace DevOps environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Able to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages.
  • Able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, work to improve customer experience, and get the right things done.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies.
