Atlas Copco is seeking a System Assembly Tech I to build and test vacuum systems. This on-site role in Export, PA, involves mechanical and basic electrical assembly, using engineering documentation. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and career development opportunities.

Ansvarsområden

  • Assemble standard and custom vacuum systems using engineering documentation, drawings, and bills of materials.
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks including bolting, drilling, tapping, and fitting components.
  • Complete basic electrical wiring and component connections.
  • Conduct system testing, leak checks, and quality inspections.
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Krav

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Less than one year of experience in mechanical, electromechanical, manufacturing, or assembly-related work.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on assembly work.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
  • Basic understanding of electrical wiring and testing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a Lean Manufacturing and 6S environment.
  • Basic computer skills are a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate overhead and jib cranes.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
