Ansvarsområden
- Improving the logistics process to ethically reduce production costs.
- Elaborating forecasts for yearly quarters drawn from global partners.
- Matching global need forecasts with the production capacities of suppliers.
- Order management and handling problems along the supply chain.
- Monitoring shipping capacity and the smooth running of the entire logistics process.
- Regular communication with suppliers via emails, calls, and meetings.
- Developing partnerships with suppliers and traveling to understand and solve issues firsthand.
- Implementing action plans with suppliers.
Krav
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics including different restocking.
- Good understanding of capacity planning.
- A sense for detail and accuracy in Excel.
- Ability to handle a large amount of varied work (emails, phone calls, chats).
- Empathy and good communication skills for teamwork and cooperation with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Analytical skills necessary for working within complex IT systems, numerically demanding project orders, and Excel documents.

- Solid base in manufacturing and product development methodologies.
- Experience working in a truly international environment.
- Familiarity with IKEA's business model and value chain is a plus.
