The Supplier Quality Leader at Electrolux Group in Kinston, NC, is responsible for maintaining a robust supplier quality program. This role drives continuous improvement, manages supplier performance, conducts audits, and resolves quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Partner with suppliers to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the qualification and approval of new suppliers and materials using PPAP.
  • Develop and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
  • Plan and conduct supplier quality audits.
  • Investigate supplier-related quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Review root cause analyses and corrective action plans (e.g., 8D reports).
  • Monitor supplier quality performance using data analysis and KPIs.
  • Prepare and present monthly supplier quality reports.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Drive supplier accountability and ensure timely closure of actions.
  • Represent the organization at supplier facilities and travel as required (up to 10%).

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree required, Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits.
  • Experience managing vendor containment, process sampling, and statistical quality control techniques.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC policies, procedures, tools, and training practices.
  • Ability to collaborate across Purchasing and Engineering teams.
