Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology is seeking a hands-on Inbound Supervisor for their 2nd shift operations in Romeoville, IL. The role involves supervising warehouse employees and drivers to ensure timely and compliant preparation, shipping, and receiving of items, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused team environment. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a forklift license.

Ansvarsområden

Oversees all aspects of compliance regarding people and equipment, such as daily inspections on all operational equipment.
Participates in continuous improvement projects.
Ensures that all operational reporting is completed and made available via applicable Sandvik systems.
Ensures that shipping/export documentation for orders are accurately and methodically processed.
Reports any discrepancies regarding stock, safety and other operational anomalies.
Complies with all aspects of the Sandvik EHS policy and any reasonable instruction, procedures or systems of work which are given in the interest of providing safe workplaces and eliminating environmental harm.
Supervises the Outbound team and sets an example for others to follow with the ability to supervise and provide direction and guidance to other employees.
Leads team meetings while providing on-the-job training and career development to all team members.

Krav

Previous experience supervising in a Warehouse.
Highly developed customer relations, time management and organizational skills.
High-level of initiative, drive and determination.
Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and motivate staff.
Sound Microsoft Office skills.
Forklift truck & Order picking forklift truck license is essential.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Prior exposure to ERP, Warehouse, Transport and EHS management systems will be beneficial.
Education in Warehouse or Supply Chain discipline is an advantage.
Knowledge of the mining industry is desirable.
