Ansvarsområden
- Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across various environments (Development, Test, UAT, Production).
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
- Ensure database availability, integrity, security, and optimal performance.
- Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize queries, indexes, and configurations.
- Implement and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances, Replication, and Log Shipping.
- Develop and test disaster recovery procedures and business continuity plans.
- Configure and monitor backup strategies, perform restore and recovery operations.
- Implement database security best practices, manage user access, roles, permissions, and encryption.
- Handle critical P1/P2 production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide fixes.
- Participate in On-Call and escalation support.
- Lead database migration projects and execute SQL Server upgrades.
- Develop scripts using T-SQL and PowerShell to automate routine DBA activities.
- Create and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams, following ITIL processes.
- Ensure on-time resolution and quality compliance of escalated tickets.
- Perform value-addition activities like mentoring, preparing SOPs, and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a liaison to the business segment for communication and presentations.
- Validate Change Order Implementation Plans and participate in capacity planning.
- Ensure positive customer feedback and satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings.
- Validate analyses and reports for key business stakeholders.
