I korthet

HCL Technologies is seeking an experienced PaaS Admin/Subject Matter Expert for Support & Operations in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This role focuses on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, requiring extensive experience with PaaS implementation, OCP, RHCOS, virtualization, container storage, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM).

Ansvarsområden

  • Implement enterprise PaaS solutions based on RedHat OpenShift on various IaaS platforms (OpenStack, Vmware, Public Cloud).
  • Manage and maintain OpenShift (Redhat), Virtualization (KVM), and VMware environments.
  • Deploy the latest version of OpenShift with CoreOS as the operating system.
  • Implement OCP ecosystem tools for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Provide hands-on understanding of Virtualization, Container native storage (Ceph/Gluster/OCS), and OpenStack.
  • Understand networking fundamentals, SDN, cluster & resource management, and Cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/Google/IBM).
  • Implement security on Kubernetes as per best practices.
  • Utilize GitOps for platform and application deployment.
  • Assist in migrations and assessment of applications written in Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, and Terraform.
  • Leverage DevOps principles and CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools.

Krav

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in complex/large enterprises in customer-facing positions as a technology Consultant/Admin/Engineer.
  • Excellent knowledge of RHCOS.
  • Strong experience in OCP (OpenShift) ecosystem tools implementation (logging, monitoring, alert).
  • Good hands-on understanding of Virtualization, Container native storage, and OpenStack.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, SDN, cluster & resource management, and Cloud deployment.
  • Security implementation on Kubernetes as per best practices.
  • Some hands-on experience on GitOps for platform and application deployment.
  • Good knowledge/experience on Container native storage (Ceph/Gluster/OCS).
  • Good exposure to DevOps principles, CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools stack.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in migration from 3.x to 4.x of OpenShift container platform is an added advantage.
  • Experience in deploying latest version of OpenShift with CoreOS as the operating system.
  • Candidates should have an application-down approach to come up with strong solutions for customer requirements.
