Your role

The Power Technique Service Division (PTS) is the aftermarket and service division within the Power Technique Business Area of Atlas Copco. PTS provides a comprehensive range of aftermarket services focused on maximizing customer productivity, including the supply of spare parts and professional service for Power Technique equipment. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our PTS team supporting our NASA distribution sites. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values cross-functional collaboration, and has a passion for operational excellence.

You will

  • Provide fast and accurate Master Data Updates to our Service Centers at all times.
  • Assure accurate and pro-active communication between our suppliers and Service Centers.
  • Pro-actively be involved in phase-in and phase-out projects related to products developed in the product company / division you are located.
  • Ensure PTS Sourcing Principles are prompted.
  • Assist in the SPP (spare parts proposal) process for the US and work together with the product company and divisional teams to ensure correct spare parts setup for new machines.
  • Work hand in hand with our Product Company Sourcing & Service Center teams to ensure our common goals are met.
  • Actively support our Regional/Global Service Centers to assure highest availability of spare parts and consumables to our worldwide customers.
  • Responsible for follow-up on corrective actions for quality supplier issues.
  • Take clear ownership for PTS for all purchasing & logistics related issues linked to the PC/Division.
  • Assure that our supplier base fulfills not just local laws and regulations but the corporate governance standards of the AC Group, including environmental and ethical standards, described in the business code of conduct.
  • Support localization projects within the NASA market.
  • Report on monthly basis the progress and achievements with clear quantified benefits.
