The Material Handling & Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery of components to ensure seamless warehouse and production operations. This role supports Kardex kitting, cycle counting, and inventory control processes. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics or supply chain, with 2-3 years of warehouse operations experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Transfer materials to the Kardex system and assemble/pick items based on the Bill of Materials.
  • Coordinate replacement of damaged materials with suppliers and label/package kits for identification.
  • Process move orders and system transactions in Oracle, ensuring timely material delivery to the assembly line.
  • Manage consumables and Kanban inventory, collaborating with suppliers for replenishment.
  • Perform physical picking and packing for shipments and monitor system alerts for unissued parts.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly cycle counts for raw materials and production inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, maintaining accurate records in the Kardex system.
  • Process scrap transactions and adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in business, engineering, logistics, or supply chain.
  • 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
