IKEA Greenwich is hiring a part-time Store Assistant to ensure a positive customer shopping experience. This multiskilled role involves supporting checkouts, customer services, and product recovery teams, with opportunities to work across different store functions. Ansvarsområden

  • Support Checkouts, Customer Services and Product Quality & Recovery teams.
  • Help customers with purchases, returns and queries.
  • Process returned and recovered products efficiently for resale.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to working and be part of a store team.
  • Interact with guests and promote products to align with their needs.
  • Ensure all areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, and products are priced and well presented.
  • Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock using pump trucks and trolleys.
  • Use appropriate stock ordering processes and systems.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed.

  • Able to multitask effectively and manage your own workload.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to use initiative, analyze the shop floor and decide priorities with the customer at the heart of the operation.
  • Strong customer-first mindset, enjoying varied daily tasks.
  • Confident using computers and technology.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Able to prioritise work and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Retail or customer service experience is helpful.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude is important.
