Edwards is seeking an STC Technician in Qiryat Gat, Israel, to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of vacuum equipment at their service center. The role requires a technical qualification in mechanical or electro-mechanical fields, at least 2.5 years of practical experience, PC proficiency, and fluency in Hebrew.

Ansvarsområden

  • Undertake equipment maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of Edwards equipment at the Edwards service centre in Qiryat Gat.
  • Provide rebuild and testing service to customer equipment.
  • Support a programme of continuous improvement relating to Service.

Krav

  • Apprenticeship in mechanical or electro-mechanical Technician.
  • Vocational level qualification in mechanical or electrical Technical school /college.
  • Minimum of 2.5 years practical experience, preferably in an engineering service environment (mechanical, chemical, vacuum or semiconductor). Alternatively, experience in a light mechanical or electronic assembly or service operation.
  • PC skills – MS Office, email and Internet. Able to compile and present concise reports.
  • Ability to adapt to and to work effectively and safely within a variety of situations and with various individuals and group.
  • Fluent in Hebrew language is essential.
  • Full clean driving licence essential.
  • Capable of working with supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be a strong oral and written communicator, confident, relaxed and influential with customers, with the ability to adapt and respond to situations as they arise.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Personality traits should include customer orientation, ambition, enthusiasm, tact and diplomacy.
  • Physically fit and able to lift 20Kg.
  • Must meet appropriate medical assessment and will be required to wear various industrial personal protective equipment (PPE).
