I korthet

As a Staff Quality Engineer at Qualcomm in San Diego, you will be the primary point of contact for data center customers regarding quality matters. This role involves leading quality communications, driving internal resolutions for customer-reported problems, and acting as the voice of the customer to internal teams.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead conference calls and F2F meetings with Customers related to quality
  • Track Customer quality metrics with regular reporting to the customer and internal management
  • Coordinate and participate in Customer audits
  • Understand the critical elements of an issue and provide direction to the working team
  • Assess the results from various technical activities and formulate responses to customers with quality and customer goals in mind
  • Interface with Customers, Integrators and Partners onsite at their location to support problem solving and issue resolution as needed
  • Craft customer presentations covering containment, root cause, risk assessments, corrective actions, preventative actions and recovery plans for complaints
  • Work cross functionally among internal organizations, coordinating activities to assess product risk, drive problem solving and achieve continuous improvement, increasing customer satisfaction

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  • 4+ years technical and business customer communications
  • 2+ years of experience dealing with suppliers in driving issues resolutions
  • 2+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
