Ansvarsområden
- Develops, defines, and executes plans of record, including schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks.
- Monitors and drives the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across functions.
- Monitors budget/spending, on-time delivery, and achievement of program milestones.
- Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop program goals, set prioritization of deliverables, and discuss involvement of business processes.
- Manages and takes responsibility for multiple medium-sized programs/technology with moderate complexity.
- Develops and manages the execution of the program Plan of Record.
- Establishes key program metrics and manages team to take action when metrics deviate from Plan of Record.
- Identifies and secures resources to ensure alignment of team with program/technology demand.
- Drives teams to identify program issues/risks and create a risk mitigation plan.
- Maintains and updates the risk tracker.
- Promotes program vision and objectives within the team.
- Promotes adoption of processes by applying best practices and identifying and executing process improvement initiatives.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
- Ability to work onsite five days per week and operate effectively within a multi-site, globally distributed development model.
- Demonstrated experience in software program management with a strong focus on Linux Kernel and/or Android platforms.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Knowledge of end‑to‑end SoC software and firmware across multiple products.
- Working knowledge of non-Android OS SW stack, such as V4L2, Gstreamer, libcamera, etc.
- Understanding of Camera system architecture, software stacks, image/video processing concepts, SoC constraints, and Cross‑Functional Interfaces (AI/Display/Video/DDR/CPU).
- Android Camera Stack: Camera HAL, Camera Service, Framework vs vendor responsibilities.
- Expertise in Android/Linux release trains, dependency management, and milestone governance.
- Proven ability to drive disciplined execution through Feature Review Boards (FRB)/Change Control Boards (CCB), checkpoints, and program metrics.
- Strong judgment in balancing customer commitments, roadmap priorities, and engineering capacity.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software development lifecycles, and how cross‑domain milestones impact integrated planning and execution.
- Ability to engage across a broad range of SoC software topics, including software planning for new silicon, silicon bring‑up, power dashboards, software stability, test gates, and defect/bug convergence.
- Previous software engineering experience e.g. Audio, Video, Display, Camera, Graphics in the Linux or Android space.
