Emerson is seeking a Staff Developer with expertise in Oracle APEX, Java, Spring Boot, and React to build and maintain enterprise-grade learning and training applications. This hybrid role involves developing and integrating various platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying the SDLC to ensure high-quality solutions for a global automation technology leader.
Ansvarsområden
- Build and maintain Oracle APEX applications for Online Training Administration, SPOT, NITRM, Event Reports, and E-Learning API platforms.
- Develop and maintain Spring Boot REST APIs to integrate learning management and training entitlement systems.
- Build and maintain React front-end components for learning platform features with responsive and accessible user experiences.
- Write and optimize PL/SQL code, packages, procedures, functions, and queries for Oracle Database.
- Apply the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across Oracle APEX, Java, and React layers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, System Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and application runbooks.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps.
- Identify technical risks and opportunities and take independent action or escalate.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience with hands-on delivery across Oracle APEX, Java, and Oracle Database.
- Proven experience designing and building Oracle APEX applications (interactive reports, forms, REST-enabled objects, authentication, page-level logic).
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot (REST API design, service-layer development, JPA/Hibernate, Oracle Database integration).
- Solid React development skills for building and maintaining front-end components.
- Hands-on experience writing PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and complex queries.
- Experience consuming and producing REST APIs, familiarity with API authentication patterns (OAuth2, JWT).
- Familiarity with learning management system APIs, SCORM/xAPI standards, training enrollment workflows, or e-learning content delivery platforms.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines, branching strategies, and sprint-based delivery.
- Advanced English communication skills.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience with eLearning platform APIs such as Thought Industries, Docebo, Cornerstone, or similar LMS/LXP systems.
- Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can), or Learning Record Store (LRS) integration patterns.
- Experience with Oracle APEX 22.x or later, including APEX REST Data Services and Universal Theme customization.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS Education Services or learning entitlement system integrations.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline configuration, artifact management, and release automation.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API gateway patterns.
- Experience with Next.js or component library frameworks is a plus.
