Emerson is seeking a Staff Developer with expertise in .NET Core, React, and MS SQL Server for a hybrid role in Mandaluyong, Philippines. The position involves building and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications, designing RESTful APIs, and developing front-end interfaces. The role offers end-to-end feature delivery and contributes to raising engineering standards within an Agile team.

Ansvarsområden

  • Build and maintain .NET Core backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Build and maintain React.js front-end components.
  • Maintain MS SQL Server database schemas, stored procedures, views, and queries.
  • Lead technical design for complex features.
  • Integrate applications with internal enterprise systems and third-party REST APIs.
  • Drive code quality within the team through code reviews and recommending improvements to engineering standards.
  • Apply the full SDLC across the application portfolio.
  • Debug and resolve production issues across .NET Core, MS SQL Server, and React layers.
  • Maintain technical documentation and participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD delivery practices using Azure DevOps.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in full-stack web development with hands-on delivery in .NET Core and React.
  • Strong proficiency in building REST API services using ASP.NET Core.
  • Solid experience building React applications with modern JavaScript (ES6+), state management (Redux or Context API), hooks, responsive design.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, including complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, indexes, schema design, and query performance tuning.
  • Experience designing, versioning, and consuming REST APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead feature design, conduct meaningful code reviews, and drive engineering best practices within a delivery team.
  • Solid familiarity with Git branching strategies, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools, and sprint-based delivery with strong English communication skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with .NET 6/7/8 features: minimal APIs, SignalR, background services (IHostedService, Worker Services), or gRPC.
  • Familiarity with Azure services in a .NET context such as Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, or Azure Key Vault.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning, including execution plans, index optimization, and query analysis using SSMS.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing in .NET, including xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, and React testing (Jest, React Testing Library).
  • Exposure to microservices patterns or API gateway architecture in a .NET ecosystem.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for .NET build, test, and deployment automation.
  • Experience working in international, cross-time zone Agile delivery teams.
