We are seeking an experienced Grafana Lead (L2) to manage the enterprise Grafana platform, responsible for designing, developing, and governing dashboards, reports, and alerts. The role requires expertise in Grafana administration, dashboard engineering, and data visualization to provide actionable insights through monitoring dashboards and reporting solutions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead the administration, governance, and lifecycle management of the Grafana platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards for infrastructure, applications, databases, cloud platforms, and business services.
  • Establish dashboard development standards, naming conventions, visualization guidelines, and reporting best practices.
  • Gather monitoring and reporting requirements from stakeholders and convert them into meaningful dashboards and visualizations.
  • Define and implement role-based access control (RBAC), user management, folder structures, and dashboard permissions.
  • Develop executive-level operational dashboards and KPI reporting views.
  • Manage Grafana alerts, notification channels, alert escalation policies, and dashboard health monitoring.
  • Ensure platform availability, performance optimization, scalability, and security compliance.
  • Drive dashboard standardization and eliminate duplicate or redundant monitoring views.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Grafana administrators and monitoring engineers.
  • Create and maintain platform documentation, SOPs, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Grafana environments.
  • Configure authentication methods including LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, OAuth, and SAML.
  • Tune performance and optimize Grafana environments.
  • Manage platform backup, recovery, and lifecycle.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards for various technology domains.
  • Build customized charts, graphs, tables, gauges, heatmaps, and trend analysis dashboards.
  • Develop business-focused KPIs and operational reporting dashboards.
  • Implement dashboard templates and reusable visualization components.
  • Ensure dashboard usability, consistency, and standardization across the organization.
  • Configure and manage Grafana data sources.
  • Integrate Grafana with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Azure Monitor, AWS Monitoring Services, and Third-Party Monitoring Tools.
  • Troubleshoot datasource connectivity and data retrieval issues.
  • Optimize query performance and dashboard response times.
  • Configure Grafana Alerting and notification workflows.
  • Create threshold-based monitoring and alert mechanisms.
  • Develop scheduled reports and executive reporting dashboards.
  • Generate service health reports, availability metrics, and performance reporting.
  • Support operational teams with monitoring analytics and reporting requirements.

Krav

  • Strong hands-on experience with Grafana administration and dashboard development.
  • Expertise in dashboard engineering, data visualization, and reporting.
  • Deep understanding of monitoring concepts, KPIs, SLAs, and operational reporting.
  • Experience integrating Grafana with multiple enterprise data sources.
  • Knowledge of authentication and access management within Grafana.
  • Strong SQL query writing and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations and data retrieval methods.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing enterprise monitoring platforms.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Grafana Enterprise experience.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Monitoring.
  • Exposure to Cloud Monitoring platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations.
  • Understanding of ITSM processes.
  • Knowledge of Capacity Management, Availability Reporting, and SLA Monitoring.
  • Exposure to observability and monitoring transformation programs.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
  • Act as the technical owner of the Grafana platform.
  • Define Grafana governance, standards, and implementation best practices.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership.
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives for monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to improve operational visibility through dashboards and analytics.
  • Ensure platform stability, scalability, and business alignment.
  • Grafana Certified Professional.
  • Grafana Enterprise Certifications.
  • ITIL Foundation.
  • Cloud Certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Monitoring & Observability Certifications.
