Ericsson is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with end-to-end cloud-native product development experience in Python and ML. The role involves backend development, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in Bangalore, India.

Ansvarsområden

  • Architect and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using Python.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers.

  • Integrate new technologies into the development process to enhance efficiency and quality.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python.
  • Proficiency in Python & Django/Rest API/FLASK/FAST API.
  • Experience with Micro Servies architecture.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming (Python).
  • Basic Understanding - Kubernetes and cloud computing – AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker) and automated testing.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Databases – MySQL, NoSQL.
  • Exposure to security best practices in system design and implementation.
  • Knowledge about end-to-end tests using Robot framework and wire-mock.
  • Write unit tests first before implementing features to ensure the functionality is well-defined and testable.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
