Amazon is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate large-scale distributed systems for its rapidly growing Quick Commerce (QC) fulfillment technology. This role is a 0→1 opportunity focused on building the next generation of QC fulfillment stack from the ground up, impacting millions of customers with ultra-fast delivery.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs for the QC fulfillment stack.
  • Develop systems that enforce operational controls, including external fulfillment environments with 3P partners.
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Amazon's engineering best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the engineering bar.
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cycles.

Krav

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
