Sr. Software Development Engineer, Payments - MENA and APAC Affordability. We are seeking a talented engineer to build and operate highly available, scalable distributed systems for payment processing across MENA and APAC regions. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and supporting complex payment platform applications in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Define, design, and implement multi-tier distributed software applications that support payment processing at scale.
  • Lead high visibility projects by estimating engineering effort, planning implementation, and rolling out system changes.
  • Independently design, code, and test major features, and guide other team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple teams (Software Development, QA, Project/Release Management, Build and Release).
  • Provide on-call production support for payment platform applications, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.
  • Contribute to system performance by identifying optimization opportunities and implementing improvements.

Krav

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
