The Sr. Project Manager, AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery is responsible for the construction of data center builds in India, ensuring safety, cost, quality, and delivery performance. This role requires managing construction general contractors, defining budgets, identifying and mitigating risks, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Ansvarsområden

Manage construction of data center builds, including site development, shell construction, and phase fit-outs.
Ensure safety, cost, quality, and delivery performance of construction projects.
Engage with stakeholders to manage changes and react to unexpected situations.
Deliver full data center builds, including multiple shells, ROMPs, and substations.
Define construction build budgets and secure necessary approvals and funding.
Communicate construction constraints to project teams and drive design reviews.
Manage construction general contractors to meet design specifications.
Deliver infrastructure build projects within defined cost, time, and quality measures.
Identify and mitigate risks and issues on assigned construction builds.
Document construction issues and comply with the project change control process.
Manage technical, cost-efficient, and fast-paced construction project schedules.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
10+ years of design, construction, or program management experience in mission-critical facilities.
Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, or technical documents and engineering drawings.
Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment and facilities.
Experience defining data center system-level architecture, specifying requirements, communicating conceptual designs, and creating/maintaining project documentation.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in construction management or program management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants.
Direct experience in the design or construction of large data center facilities (colocation or client-owned/operated).
Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships.
Experience leading large, fast-moving projects.
Knowledge of Indian and state building codes and regulations (Fire Codes, Building Codes, Energy Efficiency Codes, Sanitary Codes, Safety Codes).
Experience with large-scale mechanical and power systems.
