I korthet

As a Sr. Project Engineer/Project Leader, you will be the primary point of contact for RFQ and new project requests, translating customer needs into technical solutions. You will manage projects from inception to completion, coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Ansvarsområden

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer centers and customers for RFQ/new project requests.
  • Evaluate customer/end user RFQ requirements and specifications and translate them into our product portfolio.
  • Estimate project feasibility with the team and agree on project handling within required departments.
  • Provide technically correct & commercially valid quotations by utilizing company processes.
  • Understand Compressed Air system applications and provide Pre-Calculation, Selection, and sizing of equipment.
  • Act as the main coordination link between Factory, Supplier & Atlas Copco Customer Centers.
  • Ensure order booking is done on time.
  • Manage orders, achieving client satisfaction in terms of delivery and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with the production and customer.
  • Plan all orders in orderbook & manage invoices.
  • Keep management well informed on high-level risks.
  • Maintain project records and PMS software.
  • Track supplier/factory status and provide monthly progress reports.
  • Review and process customer/factory variations and claims.
  • Lead, organize and coordinate the assigned work during all project phases.
  • Manage budget, procurement, and schedules for various projects.
  • Propose remedial actions to safeguard contract completion timelines.
  • Actively participate in PTM and TCM for NPD, production, and field issues.

Krav

  • BE Mechanical with Minimum 3-5 years product design and development experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience on OFA products (Oil screws, Oil Free screws, Turbo machines, Pistons machines).
  • Good knowledge of Atlas Copco products, NPD process.
  • Sound knowledge and experience on Screw & centrifugal compressors.
  • Very good analytical skills.
  • Good Command (Verbal & Written) of English.
  • Strong interpersonal communication.
  • Good Knowledge of ERP systems/SAP.
  • Able to read & understand P&ID, GA, Layouts, Installation, System architecture etc.
  • Able to work under pressure & plan & organize effectively with the right sense of urgency.
  • Able to work on multiple projects by giving due importance to each project.
  • Solid understanding and mature user of O365 and digitalization tools.
  • Able to work independently with mechanical/electrical CAD drawing software (AutoCAD and Inventor).
  • SAP/GEMS and PLM Knowledge must.
